I spray painted and drilled a few holes in this plate to attach a vise to a vise stand. 1/2″ thick may have been slightly overkill for my application, but I’m very happy with the quality and I wanted something that will never break. There are no sharp edges at all and the plate was very clean, not covered in oil or dirt.
